Welcome to The Whole Mess.
I’m a queer, disabled therapist and (apparently) writer who spends a lot of time thinking about how to live inside contradiction. I practice Buddhism, sort of, though often reluctantly. My life is shaped by therapy work, queerness, disability, grief, joy, and the everyday chaos that comes with being human.
This blog is where I’ll share reflections from the messy middle. Some posts may explore Buddhist teachings and what they look like when practice feels imperfect. Others may touch on disability and identity, or the ways therapy and spiritual life overlap. Sometimes I’ll write about the ordinary details that reveal something larger: a moment of laughter in the storm, or the quiet wholeness that can be found even when things are falling apart.
I don’t have neat answers to offer, but I believe there is wisdom in the mess, and that wholeness doesn’t depend on perfection. This is my place to explore all of that, out loud, in writing, with you.
So, if you’re curious about what it means to live with contradictions, to hold chaos and completeness at the same time, I hope you’ll feel at home here.
